ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN CYBERSECURITY
Brief description of this course
DESCRIPTION
This is a course designed to demonstrate the actuality of entrepreneurship being relevant in any field of study. This course allowed us to enhance our personal and professional development through innovation guided by professionals. CYSE 494 offers opportunities to integrate disciplinary theory and knowledge through developing a nonprofit program, product, business, or another initiative. My team and I have decided to figuratively develop a Radio Frequency Awareness App (RFID). The app is designed to alert users when RFID readers are nearby and prompt them to take precautions.
SKILLS AND VALUES OBTAINED
This experience required an extensive amount of research in order to effectively support our theory. In developing this innovation, we were tasked to draft a proposal, a paper, and a business pitch for the product. This experience forced us to use an entrepreneurial mindset as we had to identify problems or issues and provide an efficient solution.
