DESCRIPTION AND TESTIMONY

The interns of this program were titled "Cyber Navigators" our objective was to assist localities to ensure the security and integrity of the voter registration system and the supporting technologies used by counties and cities. I interned at Appomattox county with two other ODU students. Appomattox county required us to assist with reviewing, editing, and creating policies and procedures. The documents are critical to the localities' infrastructure as they are directives for the staff in case of an emergency. This was a unique opportunity that provided professional experience. As this internship focused on a domain I have had little experience with in the past. I was able to learn the importance of policies and procedures and the intense process it takes to write these documents.

Unfortunately, due to the security of these documents and all work completed in this internship. I can not provide any evidence. Click the button below to learn more about this opportunity.
